Osmania University | Hyderabad, July 23 (Maxim News): Osmania University has announced a National Seminar on “Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Accounting Education“, aimed at examining how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming accounting education and the accounting profession.
The seminar, organised by the University College of Commerce & Business Management (UCC&BM) in association with the Indian Accounting Association (IAA), Hyderabad Branch, will bring together academicians, researchers, industry experts, professionals and students to discuss the opportunities and challenges presented by AI in the field of accounting.
Osmania University Vice Chancellor Releases Seminar Poster
The poster for the national seminar was formally released by the Vice Chancellor of Osmania University at the Vice Chancellor’s Chamber on the university campus.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice Chancellor appreciated the initiative taken by the University College of Commerce & Business Management and the Indian Accounting Association, Hyderabad Branch, for organising the seminar on the contemporary theme.
He said the subject is highly relevant for Generation Z, as Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming higher education, professional practices and the future workplace.
The Vice Chancellor emphasised that students, teachers, researchers and professionals must understand, embrace and adapt to AI-driven technologies to remain future-ready in an evolving academic and professional environment.
He also conveyed his best wishes for the successful conduct of the seminar.
The seminar poster was presented to the Vice Chancellor by members of the organising committee.
Among those present during the poster release were Prof. G. Naresh Reddy, Registrar of Osmania University; Prof. Indrakanti Sekhar, Principal of UCC&BM and Seminar Director; Prof. S. Jithender Kumar Naik, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Vice Chancellor; and V. Prasad Babu, Assistant Registrar of the University College of Commerce.
According to the organisers, the national seminar is expected to attract distinguished academicians, accounting professionals, researchers, industry experts and students from educational institutions across the country to deliberate on the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in accounting education and practice.
