Vijayawada, Aug.15 (Maxim News): Janasena Party will celebrate only two important festivals one is Independence Day on August 15 and the other one Republic Day on January 26, Janasena Party President Pawan Kalyan has said. These two festivals are the fruits of sacrifices made by many great personalities who languished in jails and gave up their lives for the cause. He assured that Janasena Party would take forward their nationalism sprit remembering the sacrifices made by them.
Pawan Kalyan was addressing a meeting after hoisting the national flag at the Janasena Party office in Mangalagiri as part of Independence Day celebrations on Thursday. Pawan Kalyan exhorted that “it is not enough to organize Independence Day celebrations in one day. It must be prolonged to at least one week. A week before hoisting the National Flag on August 15, people in every village and hamlet must remember the sacrifices made by great freedom fighters and pay rich tributes to them and then celebrate the Independence Day. This is my dream. Then only the young generations will be aware of greatness of the country and value of sacrifices of freedom fighters. I wish those days will come in future.”
Janasena Party Political Affairs Committee (PAC) chairman Nadendla Manohar thanked the party workers and leaders who attended the Independence Day celebrations. He recalled that the party affairs had been commenced after hoisting the national flag on Republic Day and efforts were on since then for strengthening the party by fighting on the people’s issues. He called upon the party activists to remember the sacrifices made by the great freedom fighters and follow their footsteps.(Maxim News)
