Hyderabad, June 29: After a successful theatrical run, Peddi, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, is set to make its digital debut. According to media reports, the sports action drama is expected to premiere on Netflix on July 2, 2026. However, the makers have not officially confirmed the streaming date.
The film is expected to stream in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam, allowing audiences across India to watch it from home.
Peddi OTT release on Netflix expected soon
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is a rural sports action drama that follows a determined young man as he battles personal and social challenges to achieve his dream. The film blends sports, action, family emotions and drama into a commercial entertainer.
Ram Charan plays the lead role, while Janhvi Kapoor stars opposite him. The supporting cast includes Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu, who play key roles.
The soundtrack comes from Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman. The film’s music, visuals and action sequences received appreciation from audiences during its theatrical run.
Although Peddi received mixed reviews from critics, it performed strongly at the box office and emerged as one of the biggest Telugu blockbusters of the year. Consequently, expectations remain high for its digital premiere.
