Piyush Exposes Chandrababu On Special Status To AP

Hyderabad, March 26 (Maxim News): Railway Minister Piyush Goyal exposed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu over his stand on the Special Category Status to AP.

The Union minister released to the media a letter written by Chandrababu Naidu to Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on October 24, 2016. The letter explains how the State should be helped with the help of Special Package. Piyush recalled that the TDP had passed a resolution in Mahanadu held in 2017 that Special Category Status should be rejected and the special package should be accepted. Another letter was sent by the AP Assembly thanking the Centre for granting special package to AP on March 16, 2017. The BJP leader said as the TDP was facing anti-incumbency, the party walked out of the alliance with BJP to blame the Union government. He opined that Chandrababu forging an alliance with the Congress party, which was responsible for late NT Rama Rao losing power.

BJP State president Kanna Laxmi Narayana said Chandrababu Naidu was inciting ill-will between the two Telugu States with an eye on electoral gains. He wanted to know whether Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan have no properties in Hyderabad. He also ridiculed Nara Lokesh about his statement that Machilipatnam Port will be taken over by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.

Another leader IYR Krishna Rao said the BJP manifesto was developed in such a way that all sections of society will be benefited through it. The BJP leader remarked that Chandrababu Naidu, who lost sanity with fear of electoral debacle, has been continuously slamming Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his political gains. (Maxim News)
