Vadodara, Sept. 8: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that truth will ultimately overcome attempts to mislead people through false claims.
Addressing a large gathering of youth in Vadodara, Gujarat, Modi said India’s young generation was following the path of truth.
He said attempts were being made to influence people through what he described as the repeated echoes of lies. Modi added that those spreading misleading narratives would continue to face public scrutiny.
Earlier, the Prime Minister launched and inaugurated several development projects worth around Rs 20,000 crore in Vadodara.
PM Modi Targets Opposition Over Development Projects
Modi referred to the recently launched double decker goods train between Vadodara and Mumbai.
He said the train could carry goods equivalent to around 250 trucks in a single trip.
Taking a dig at the Opposition, Modi said some people still find reasons to criticise such projects. He referred to questions about the condition of trucks and truck drivers.
Modi also criticised the progress of the dedicated freight corridor before 2014.
He said construction of the special freight corridor had not progressed even by a kilometre before 2014. (Maxim News)
