Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday paid homage to police personnel who died in the line of duty. The PM said police personnel always give their best without hesitation. In his message on Police Commemoration Day, PM Modi said, from preserving law and order to solving heinous crimes, from helping out when disaster strikes to fighting COVID-19, police personnel always do their best without hesitation.
“We are proud of their diligence and readiness to assist citizens,” PM Modi tweeted. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has appreciated the country’s police force for being on the frontline of the war against coronavirus.
