Hyderabad, July 30 (Maxim News): Is Raja Singh, the firebrand Goshamahal MLA, on the path back to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)? His latest remarks indicate that the controversial leader, who was earlier expelled from the party for defying its leadership, is now open to reconciliation with the BJP high command.
In a candid conversation with the media, Raja Singh admitted that he is willing to meet the national leadership and clarify the reasons for his resignation.
“There were some mistakes on my part too. Some people gave false information about me to the high command,” he said, hinting at a possible return to the BJP fold.
Resignation Misunderstood? Raja Singh Clarifies
Raja Singh further clarified the nature of his resignation, stating that while he resigned from the party, he did not resign as MLA.
“There won’t be any by-election in Goshamahal. I’m still an MLA and will remain so for the next three years. I never gave a resignation letter to the Speaker,” he asserted.
His comments directly addressed speculation surrounding a possible by-election in Goshamahal, following his resignation. Drawing comparisons with BRS MLAs who joined the Congress without facing elections, he questioned why a different narrative was being created around his case.
Internal Rift in BJP Telangana Unit?
The Goshamahal MLA didn’t shy away from pointing fingers within the party either. He alleged that there are both friends and enemies inside BJP, and accused certain individuals of leaking misinformation to the media and the central leadership in Delhi.
Raja Singh expressed his disappointment over the false propaganda on social media, which led to the high command accepting his resignation.

He emphasized that he’s now ready to reveal the internal dynamics of the BJP in Telangana, including how newcomers are being favored and how loyalists are being sidelined or insulted.
A Possible Return to the Saffron Fold?
While there has been no official word from the BJP high command yet, Singh’s statements suggest a clear openness to reconciliation — provided he’s given the opportunity to explain his side.
His potential re-entry could impact BJP’s positioning in Hyderabad, especially considering his influence among the Hindu voter base and his reputation for vocal Hindutva politics.
