New Delhi/Hyderabad, July 14: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Tuesday met Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi to discuss key infrastructure projects, including the Regional Ring Road (RRR) and national highway development in Telangana.
The meeting was attended by MP Raghuveer Reddy and senior state goveRevanth Reddy Meets Nitin Gadkari, Seeks Fast-Track Approval for Regional Ring Roadrnment officials.
During the meeting, Revanth Reddy informed the Union Minister that around 95 percent of the land acquisition for the northern section of the Regional Ring Road has already been completed.
He requested the Centre to grant immediate approval so that construction work on the northern corridor can begin without delay.
The Chief Minister also sought the Centre’s approval to initiate the land acquisition process for the southern section of the Regional Ring Road.
He stressed the importance of expediting the project to improve connectivity around Hyderabad and support the state’s long-term infrastructure development.
Revanth Reddy also urged the Union Minister to take up the proposed 12-lane Greenfield Highway connecting Hyderabad and Amaravati.
According to the Chief Minister, the highway would significantly improve transportation, strengthen industrial connectivity and promote economic growth between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The meeting is part of Revanth Reddy’s ongoing visit to New Delhi, during which he has been meeting several Union Ministers to seek Central support for major infrastructure and development projects in Telangana.
