Hyderabad, April 17 (Maxim News): As the Parliament witnessed, the Bharatiya Janata Party Tejasvi Surya have once again shown their hatred for the formation of Telangana state, and BRS Working President KTR has strongly condemned the fact that the party leaders have no respect for the existence of Telangana. He said that comparing the formation of Telangana state with the partition of India and Pakistan is extremely foolish, and we strongly condemn such arrogant and anti-Telangana comments.
He lamented that BJP leaders have repeatedly made it a habit to insult the self-respect of the people of Telangana and the sacrifices of the martyrs. He said that everyone, starting from Prime Minister Modi himself to today’s Member of Parliament Tejaswi Surya, is repeatedly expressing opposition to Telangana. He said that the Telangana society will remember the comments made by the BJP, spewing venom on the formation of Telangana.
KTR made it clear that the Telangana state was not formed due to anyone’s kindness or charity. He reminded that this land was liberated as a result of a long struggle that lasted for decades and the sacrifices of thousands of youth. He criticized the BJP for exposing its bad culture by comparing the democratic struggle of the people for existence with tragic events like the partition of the country. He warned that no one has the right to hurt the sentiments of the people of Telangana.
KTR said that it is extremely shameful that eight Telangana BJP MPs present there are silent even though a fellow MP is spewing venom against Telangana as a witness in Parliament. He said that it is outrageous that even the Congress Party MPs elected from Telangana are silent without condemning the comments made by BJP MP Tejaswi Surya. He questioned how these people, who could not stop insulting Telangana before their eyes, will answer the people with a face. He said that Telangana society is observing the attitude of these MPs who believe that political interests are more important than the interests of the state.
KTR demanded that Tejaswi Surya, who insulted Telangana, immediately withdraw his comments and unconditionally apologize to the people of Telangana. KTR demanded that the BJP party also apologize to the people of Telangana for the comments made by Tejaswi Surya. Otherwise, Tejaswi Surya’s comments will have to be considered as the official policy of the BJP.(Maxim News)
