Offering a ray of hope for children of a lesser God, the State government has come up with a dedicated residential school concept that will equip them with education and help them join the mainstream.
As part of its efforts to rehabilitate ragpickers, street children and victims of child labour by giving them a roof to sleep under and access to education, the State government has established 31 Urban Residential Schools which will not only provide education but also give accommodation and mess facility from this academic year.
