Kakinada: The 62 years old sacred chariot with a height of 40 feet, made a teak wood got fire on midnight of Saturday at Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple at Antarvedi in East Godavari district. The chariot has a sacred history and it is used for taking procession of Gods and Goddess of the temple. The police, Endowment and Fire department officials rushed to the spot and put off the fire.

Yadadri-Bhongir: Former AP Chief Minister and TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu escaped unhurt in an accident involving his bullet proof vehicle on NH 65 near Dandumalkapuram of Choutuppal mandal on Saturday. Naidu’s bullet proof vehicle was partially damaged.

Hyderabad, Sept.5 (Maxim News): The Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) authorities today issued Broad Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for resumption of Hyderabad metro rail services. The Metro operations will be resumed in graded manner. In the Phase-I, From September 7 onwards, the Corridor 1(Miyapur to LB Nagar) would be made operational. The Revenue services would be from 0700 hrs to 1200 hrs in morning and 1600 hrs to 2100 hrs in evening.
