TS Schemes ideal, BJP spent for publicity: Harish Rao

Hyderabad, March 4 (Maxim News): Finance and Health Minister T Harish Rao today stated that a medical college will be started at Komaram Bheem Asifabad district and offered to give all support for development. Harish Rao slams the BJP Government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for failing to support girls through beti padhao, beti bachao, women and youths. The Centre spent huge funds for publicity and failed to spend for welfare of the girls and women, he said. The Government will give Rs 1 lakh crop loan waiver by March end he said and said to offer pensions to 57 years old people in the state. We surpasse Maharashtra which gives Rs 500, Gujrat gives Rs 600 pensions and in Telangana we offer four times of the pensions from Rs 2016 to 3016.

Harish Rao laid the foundation for a 350 bed hospital and announced support to develop the district modern hospital and facilities.

He said that he will give all possible support for development of the hospitals and poor women in the state and districts. Minister Indrakaran Reddy, MLAs Konappa, Suman and others were present. He laid foundation stone for 350 bed multi specialty hospital by sending Rs 60 cr.

Harish Rao announced a dialysis center, and other required facilities in the hospitals with staff and funds to provide better health services, he said. The minister asked the women to encourage pregnant ladies to get normal deliveries at the government hospitals. This will help them avoid unnecessary expenditure at private hospitals, he said. The minister said that the KCR Government is implementing schemes for girl child and mother on delivery at the hospitals. We give Rs 12000 to male babies and Rs 13000 to female babies on birth through KCR Kits and provide all support. Kalyana Lakshmi, Shadi Mubarak offer Rs 1 lakh to the poor families in the state as no other states give such facilities. Only the KCR Government in Telangana is giving all support to the girls, women, poor through multiple schemes. We give Rs 3016 and Rs 2016 pensions to the deserving categories in our state and people should support the TRS government, he said.

No other states ruled by the BJP or the congress are implementing schemes like KCR Kits, Kalyana Lakshmi, Shadi Mubarak, pensions and others, he claimed. Modi spent Rs 600 cr for publicity out of Rs 800 cr allotted for beti padhao and beti bachao scheme, he said. Harish accused the opposition parties of spreading falsehood. (Maxim News)
