India Has 190 Nuclear Weapons: Pakistan Has 170

Internet/Hyderabad, June 8 (Maxim News): India is steadily increasing its nuclear arsenal. India currently has 190 nuclear weapons. While India had 180 nuclear weapons last year, it has added ten more this year. On the other hand, Pakistan lags behind India in terms of nuclear weapons. Pakistan currently has 170 nuclear weapons. India has 20 more nuclear weapons than Pakistan (India nuclear arsenal).

The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) has recently released these figures. India is currently focusing on the development of long-range missiles, expansion of sea-based nuclear deterrent capabilities, and modern delivery systems. SIPRI said that in particular, Agni-V and new generation missile systems are increasing India’s strategic strength (India Pakistan nuclear weapons).

SIPRI has revealed that Russia (5420) and the United States (5042) are the top two countries with the most nuclear weapons in the world (SIPRI Yearbook 2026). Next is China (620). Then there are France (370), Britain (225), Israel (90), and North Korea (60). There are 9 countries in the world that have nuclear weapons. These 9 countries have a total of more than 12,000 nuclear weapons. (Maxim News)
