Star India Hikes Donation To Rs 5 Cr For Kerala Victims

Hyderabad, Aug.24 (Maxim News): Star India today announced it will increase its donation to Rs 5 crore for the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund for relief and rehabilitation efforts in Kerala. The Star India had previously announced Rs 2 crore donation. However, on seeing the magnitude of the disaster, Star India and its employees increased the donation along with its parent company 21st Century Fox.

Star India MD – South K Madhavan presented a cheque for Rs 5 crore to Kerala Chief Minster Pinarayi Vijayan today.

In addition, Star Maa’s “AllForKerala” campaign supported by Bigg Boss Telugu-2 host Nani, Actor Vijay Deverakonda, Director and Host Omkar and channel protagonists aired across the Star Maa network channels urging Telugu viewers to stand with Kerala and extend all possible help to the flood-hit people.
