Move To Close 4,000 Schools Stoutly Opposed
Hyderabad, July 11 (Maxim News): The Government’s move to close nearly 4,000 Government schools in the State on the plea of lack of students, was strongly opposed by the BC Welfare Sangham. Sangham’s National President, R Krishniah said that the move would make education un-accessible to the poorer sections. It was shameful that the Government were following the Rajasthan formula, instead of providing basic facilities in all the schools. He said that some of the officials were feeding wring information to the Chief Minister on schools.
He said that if the Government failed to withdraw the proposal, they would launch a bug agitation. (Maxim News)
