Hyderabad, Nov.16 (Maxim News): Launch of Digital Wellbeing Council at CMR Engineering College, Kondlakoya for better Internet Ethics and Digital Wellness amongst Students.
CMR Engineering College launched Digital Wellbeing Council on yesterday. The college Secretary and correspondent Ch. Srisailam Reddy has inaugurated the event by lightening of ceremonial lamp in the presence of the Principal A.S. Reddy along with Chief Guest Anil Rachamalla, Founder of End Now Foundation and Guest of Honour Sr. Brigadier Sree Ramulu – Director – TASK which is done in coordination with Smt. Madhavi Pingili Head of Department – Information Technology.
This program was graced by C.M.R. Pharmacy College Principle Abulu and CMR Engineering Head of Departments Dr. Sheo Kumar, Dr. Suman Mishra, Dr. K.S.Reddy and Dr. K.V. Reddy.
Digital Wellbeing Council is a council that will guide the teens / youth right way to safe online monitoring and controlling capabilities. This council will have One Counsellor from Teaching Faculty and five Students Ambassadors / Cyber Rakshaks have been appointed. This council works on the same fundamentals of Anti Ragging Council.
The objective of the Digital Wellbeing Councils to increase their Digital Wellness and responsible online behavioural patterns.
Apart from Talks, Many activities are done in a more informal way like Visuals (Posters) , Quiz, Painting, Debates, Elocution etc. The students Ambassadors would do the exact role of Cyber Rakshak. (Maxim News)
