‘I have A Right To Seek TPCC Chief Post’—Jagga Reddy

Hyderabad, Feb.15 (Maxim News): Congress party MLA Jagga Reddy clarified on his stand of not talking about politics. He made it clear that his stand was only confined to opposition political parties and their leaders. He however said that he would talk about the politics related to his own party.

Reddy said that it was his right to seek TPCC President Post. He made it clear that he would also talk about politics whenever it was found that the state government was not caring for its people. He made it clear that there was no need to remove the TPCC president at this juncture and added that he would urge the party high command to continue N. Uttam Kumar Reddy as TPCC president. He however hastened to state that he would urge the party high command to appoint him if the removal of Uttam Kumar Reddy was inevitable. He claimed that he had the medicine to bring back the congress party to power in the state.

Commenting on the installation of Mahatma Gandhi statue in his assembly constituency, he said that he would also install a 60 feet high statue of their party Jawaharlal Nehru. He said that Nehru had faced a lot of problems during India‘s freedom struggle and added that Nehru had taken part in country’s freedom struggle at the age of 23 years. He also said that Gandhi had spent 3259 days in jail demanding freedom to the country. He said that Nehru was responsible for the establishment of BHEL, Nagarjuna Sagar Dam, Sriram Sagar project in the state. (Maxim News)
