Hyderabad, April 20 (Maxim News): BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao welcomed senior leader T. Jeevan Reddy into the party at a massive public meeting in Jagtial on Monday.
KCR draped the party scarf on Jeevan Reddy and formally invited him into BRS. Later, he praised the senior leader and described his decision as bold and meaningful.
KCR said Jeevan Reddy joined the party by placing Telangana interests above personal gain. He added that the senior leader’s public life can inspire many politicians.
Jeevan Reddy Joins BRS Boosting Karimnagar Politics
KCR said he and Jeevan Reddy have shared a friendship for 45 years. He added that political differences never affected their bond.
“Though we stood in different parties earlier, we always stayed connected,” KCR said during his speech.
Moreover, KCR announced that Jeevan Reddy will now serve as BRS general secretary and work for the party across Telangana.
He also said Jeevan Reddy has deep political knowledge and strong experience. Therefore, his entry will strengthen the party in the coming days.
KCR expressed confidence that the joining has created fresh energy among BRS workers across the united Karimnagar district.
He said Jeevan Reddy commands respect not only in the district but across Telangana politics. In addition, he praised the senior leader’s loyal cadre base.
Meanwhile, political observers see the move as an important strategy by KCR. On one side, he attacked the Congress government. On the other side, he brought a senior leader into BRS.
