New Virus In Telangana, Woman Dies

Hyderabad, Feb 10 (Maxim News): The virus that is currently plaguing people across the country is called Guillain-barre Syndrome (GBS). It is a neurological disease that was first identified in Pune.

The first death due to the same disease has occurred in Telangana. A married woman (25) from Siddipet died while undergoing treatment at a hospital.

According to family members and doctors, a married woman (25) from Seetarampalli in Siddipet Rural mandal of Siddipet district has two sons under the age of five. She recently gave birth to a daughter.

A month after the birth of her daughter, the woman fell seriously ill with nerve pain. Due to this, the family members got her treated at NIMS and private hospitals in Siddipet and Hyderabad.

Lakhs of rupees were spent on her treatment. But to no avail. She eventually passed away while undergoing treatment in the hospital. Many people have died due to GBS in Pune, maharashtra.

Many people are already undergoing treatment in hospitals. Doctors said that this is the first time that a death has occurred due to this disease in the state of Telangana.

Guillain-Barre syndrome is a rare condition in which the body’s immune system attacks the body’s nerves in response to an infection. People infected with GBS experience numbness throughout their body.

Symptoms such as high fever and vomiting are seen in the initial stage. Along with these, abdominal pain, sudden weakness, diarrhea and muscle weakness are described as symptoms of Guillain-Barre syndrome.

It is transmitted through water and contaminated food in the form of bacteria. However, the good news is that it is not contagious. (Maxim News)
