The report claims that two UAE oil tankers, Mombasa and Al Bahiyah, were allegedly struck by cruise missiles while transiting the southern passage of the Strait of Hormuz in Omani territorial waters.

According to the report, the Indian Embassy in the UAE expressed condolences over the reported death of the Indian seafarer and said it was closely monitoring the situation while coordinating with local authorities to assist the injured and their families.

The report further states that the UAE Ministry of Defence condemned the alleged attack, saying it caused material damage to both vessels after fires broke out on board. It added that the fires were brought under control and described the incident as a serious violation of international law that threatens regional security and stability.
