Hyderabad, Jan.13 (Maxim News): Officials of the Telangana Road Transport Authority on Friday organized extensive checks on private buses on the Vijayawada highway at Pedda Amberpet under Hayatnagar mandal of Ranga Reddy district and registered cases against 28 private vehicles.
The RTA officials took positions at Pedda Amberpet and intercepted private buses plying in violation of Motor Vehicles Act. The RTA officials said they were conducting the special checking of private buses keeping in view the welfare of the home-going commuters for the festival.
They also reiterated that they would take strict action against the private buses plying in utter violation of the rules. (Maxim News)
