TITA Conducts IT Industrial Tour Successfully

Hyderabad/Wanaparthy, Nov.11 (Maxim News): Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) has successfully conducted IT Industrial tour for the government school students of Wanaparthy. As a continuation of Digithon Digital tour that was conducted there, the industrial tour has been taken up in Hyderabad. As a part of industrial tour, Robothon was conducted and students were trained in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.

Some 100 students were introduced by Hyderabad and IT industry by TITA Digithon team members. They visited T-hub, cyber towers and IT companies in Phoenix and interacted with the employees there. Swetha Mohanthy, District Collector of Wanaparthy, appreciated the initiative taken up by TITA.

Innovation clubs were started in government schools of Wanaparthy district as a part of ‘Wanaparthy Digithon tour’. Two students each from 33 schools of the district came to Hyderabad tour. Innovation club students from classes 8th and 9th and their teachers participated in the tour. District science officer Srinivasulu led the team. As a part of Robothon, they were given Robotics instruments and user manual. They will teach these things to the other students of their school with the help of this kit. They have learnt line follower, optical detector and home automation projects. Later, the students visited T-Hub. The students have formed into 11 teams and gave their presentations before the Telangana State Innovation Cell jury. The TSIC jury under the leadership of Pranay has judged them and announced three winners. Shantha Thoutam, vice-president of T-Hub coordinated the visit and explained regarding T-Hub and startups. Students shared their opinions with enthusiastic entrepreneurs and have learnt different topics.

TITA global president Sundeep Kumar Makthala said they conducted similar tour to Gadwal students and later to Wanaparthy students. He said that students have learnt with joy and they will conduct further programs in continuation in other districts too.

District science officer Srinivasulu said he was feeling happy and proud to have the opportunity to their students. He also told that 33 teachers have not visited IT towers till now and appreciated TITA for providing opportunity to them along with the students. Teachers also have learnt new topics along with the students, he explained. TITA official spokespersons Venkat Vanam, Pradeep Nilagiri, Project lead Saumya Konisetty, Puja, Sekhar, Sai and Ramya Sharma have participated in this program. (Maxim News)
