The coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh has seen a slight hike on Thursday against Wednesday.
According to health, bulletin released a short while ago, about 67,269 samples were tested in the last 24 hours where 1031 new cases were reported taking the total number of cases across the state to 8,65,705 and 8 deaths in the last 24 hours, which brings the total death toll to 6970.
The health bulletin says that the recovery rate also been increased with as many as 1,081 people had recovered in the past 24 hours, which brings the total number of recovered cases to 8,46,120 while 12,615 are being treated at the various coronavirus hospitals.
The district-wise number of cases registered in the last 24 hours was 172 in Guntur, 162 in Krishna, 126 in West Godavari, 117 in East Godavari, 122 in Chittoor, 84 in Visakhapatnam, 56 in Anantapur, 55 in Kadapa, 43 in Prakasam, 41 in Nellore, 29 in Vizianagaram, 23 in Srikakulam, 21 in Kurnool respectively.
