Modi Shocked On Bus Accident: Announces Rs. 2 Lakh Ex-Gratia

Kurnool/Hyderabad, Oct 24 (Maxim News): It is known that a serious bus accident took place in Kurnool district. A Kaveri Travels bus going from Hyderabad to Bengaluru collided with a bike in Chinnatekur and caught fire. There were 40 passengers in the bus at the time of the accident, out of which 20 were reported to have died. The bus was completely burnt in the incident.

However, Prime Minister Modi expressed shock over the bus accident. He expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the deceased. He announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased and a compensation of Rs. 50 thousand each to the injured.

President Draupadi Murmu also responded to the bus accident. She posted on Twitter to this effect and expressed grief over the incident. She expressed condolences to the deceased. She revealed that she is praying for the speedy recovery of the injured.

AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, Telangana Jagruthi President, K.Kavitha and others also responded to the bus accident and expressed grief over the incident and expressed condolences to the deceased. (Maxim News)
