Former MLA Shakil’s son | Hyderabad, April 8: Sahil, also known as Rahil, the son of former MLA Shakeel from the Bodhan constituency of the BRS party, has been apprehended by the police.
He stands accused in a road accident case that occurred in front of Praja Bhavan. Following the incident, Rahil fled to Dubai, but upon his return to Hyderabad, he was promptly arrested by the Panjagutta police. Before his arrest, lookout notices had been issued against him.

Rahil was presented before the judge at the residence of the Nampally court, where he was remanded to judicial custody until the 22nd of this month, a period of 14 days. Subsequently, he was transferred to Chanchalguda Jail.
It’s worth noting that Rahil attempted to mislead the police by falsely implicating his driver and allegedly influencing the Panjagutta police inspector. Consequently, both Panjagutta police inspector Durga Rao and Bodhan inspector Prem Sagar have been suspended pending further investigation for their alleged support of the BRS MLA’s son.
